Get Well Hand Delivered Card

This is the second card for the July Come Stamp With Me Class on Special Occasions Cards; a get well card using the Host Hand Delivered Stamp Set.  This is an awesome stamp set and I have created a number of cards using it.  If you want this stamp set, contact me to host a General Stampin' Up (SU) Workshop, a special class where people order the product rather than paying a set fee, or a Paper Pumpkin Workshop.

I offered two different options for this card.  This
is option #1; the So Saffron panel is embossed with
the SU Polka Dot Embossing Folder.  This layer
is also used on option #2 below and is the
border edge.  You can find the information on
the supplies I used for these cards below.

This card option #2; the only difference is the
use of retired SU Night of Navy Designer Series
Paper (DSP) on top of the SU So Saffron
Polka Dot panel.  The stamp set used for
the front panel and the inside panel is the
SU Hand Delivered stamp set.  The woman,
sign, and sentiment are stamped in Memento
Black on the SU Whisper White panel.  The
skirt is paper pieced by stamping on the SU Garden
Impressions DSP and then fuzzy cutting out
the skirt and adhering it to the stamped skirt
with Tombow Glue.  The shoes are colored in
using SU Night of Navy Dark Stampin' Blends.

This is the inside of the card with a panel of
SU So Saffron and SU Whisper White panel.
The flowers are stamped three times in each
corner in Memento Black and
colored in using either SU Stampin' Blends
or SU Markers.  The leaves in SU Blends
Old Olive, the flower petals in SU Marker
So Saffron, and the center of the flower
 in SU Blends Calypso Coral.
This floral pattern is also used on the front of the envelope,
but colored in using SU watercolor pencils.

Celebrate the New Year Class

For the next few days I will be posting the cards and project from my January "Come Stamp With Me" class.  The theme for this class was "Celebrate the New Year" with a focus on the Stampin' Up Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catalogs.  This first card is more of a masculine card, although it can be used for teens and women as well.  I love the color combination of Tranquil Tide, Night of Navy, and Very Vanilla. See the supply list below.

The front panel of the card is a technique using
the die cut word, Celebrate as a background
that looks like the panel is embossed.
The Celebrate that is popped up is layered on
Fun Foam.  All the die cut words are from the
Celebrate You Thinlit Dies available in the
SU Sale-A-Bration catalog.  If you spend $100
on an order, you can get these dies free.
Note, these dies will also be available in the
2018-19 Annual Catalog that comes out in June.
The Night of Navy banner was made using the
Banner Triple Punch.  The Designer Series Paper (DSP)
used in the background is 'True Gentleman' found in the
Occasions Catalog.

I gave two different options for the inside sentiment;
Happy Birthday and General Celebration theme.  You
could also use it for retirements, friendship, graduation, etc.
The scatter is done in Night of Navy ink and the sentiments in
Tranquil Tide ink.  The stamps used are Picture Perfect Birthday
found in the Occasions catalog; Epic Celebrations found in the
Sale-A-Bration catalog; and the Retired Gorgeous Grunge set.
There are many other stamps available that have similar scatter patterns.
