I love the new Daisy Punch and Daisy Delight Stamp Set.
I used these to create the three Daisy flowers by stamping
two daisies in each new In-color; Lemon Lime Twist,
Berry Burst, and Powder Pink. I stamped the center with
Soft Suede after layering the two daisies together. The card
base is Berry Burst, with a layer of Lemon Lime Twist. The top
layer is on Whisper White with a 1 1/2 by 5 strip of Fresh Florals
Designer Series Paper in Berry Burst (this DSP comes in all
the new In-colors with 4 different designs) and a 1/2 by 5 strip of
Powder Pink. The sentiment is from the Daisy Delight
stamp set and is stamped in Basic Gray Archival ink.
This is the inside of the card. I stamped the triple daisy
in Powder Pink on the left bottom and top right. I used
this same stamp and ink on the envelope left side front
and along the back flap, see below. The sentiment is
from the Daisy Delight stamp set and stamped in
Basic Gray Archival.
Here is the card and envelope together.
This is the second swap card I made which is simple
and beautiful. The card base is made with Whisper
White Thick cardstock; 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4.
The front layer is the new In-color Tranquil Tide which
is embossed with the new 3D Dynamic Textured Impression
Layered Leaves Embossing Folder. This is my favorite
Embossing Folder right now. I want to use it on
everything. It is so beautiful and elegant; great for
any season. The smaller layer is made up of a Basic Black
layer for 1/8 inch border with a 1 3/8 inch of
a Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper. Then a
layer of Pool Party Shimmer Ribbon is wrapped around
the center of that layer. This layer is adhered to the front
of the card a little less than a third up from the bottom.
The sentiment layer is made using the Pretty Label Punch
and the Label Me Pretty Stamp Set.
I stamped the Floral Happy Birthday sentiment on Whisper White
using Basic Black Archival ink. I punched that out and
colored in the flowers using Stampin' Up Markers trying to
match the DSP. Then I punched out two Basic Black labels.
Then I cut one in half lengthwise and the one in half widthwise.
I placed the lengthwise halves on the top and bottom of the
stamped label, it won't cover everything. Then I put the other
two on the two sides of the label to create a full border
of about 1/8 inch . I popped up the label using
dimensionals in the center of the layer.
This is the inside of the card. I used the flowers
from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set
because they closely matched the flowers
on the Whole Lot of Lovely DSP. These same
flowers were stamped on the envelope as well,
see below.
This is the finished card and envelope.
